Bias & Discrimination Response System

FSU Expectations

The Florida State University’s Bias & Discrimination Response System aims to fosters a diverse and dynamic environment for our community to learn about self and others. Members of this community vary in their race, creed, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability, veterans’ or marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or any other protected group status. This diversity provides rare opportunities for lifelong learning, and it is through this learning, we must maintain a level of respect for others, the university, and the community.
In our pursuit of excellence, we must embrace learning and living in a diverse environment that aims to celebrate our differences and similarities. Through this we will support academic freedom and freedom of speech so that community members can coexist in a just atmosphere where active citizenship and the discovery of new friendships are supported.
