Resource Request

Rooms / Space

The primary purpose of the Dunlap Student Success Center is to provide working and meeting space for the Career Center and the Center for Leadership & Service, departments within the Division of Student Affairs. The Center for Leadership & Service also partners with a number of Recognized Student Organizations, who have been granted office space and have the opportunity and ability to request space in the building to conduct business of their organization.

Space in DSC can only be requested by and reserved for FSU-affiliated faculty, staff and Recognized Student Organizations for programs, meetings, and events that align with the mission and vision of the Center for Leadership & Service.

The DSC staff want to accommodate your needs as best we can, and we want your event to be as successful as possible. The more information you can provide, the better we can match you to the best available space in our building. Reservations need to be requested at least 72 hours in advance using the Division of Student Affair's reservation website.

Dunlap Success Center has one large program room (that can be divided into two smaller program rooms), two medium program rooms, and three small conference rooms. These rooms can be used between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily with building swipe access or alternative arrangements. These spaces are to be used for official departmental/organizational business only.

Equipment / Technology

The Center for Leadership & Service has a collection of reservable technology for use by Center programs. All technology must be reserved by a staff member (full-time, part-time, or graduate assistant). Requested placed by students who are not employed by the Center will be declined.

Students who are associated with a Center program should speak with their program's coordinator if they need to use Center technology for an event. Their program coordinator can assess the need and place a request at their own discretion. The staff member who places the request is ultimately responsible for the borrowed equipment and should take care when entrusting it to others.

Requestable Technology:

  • Notebook Computers
  • MacBook Computers
  • Point-and-Shoot Cameras
  • Video Cameras
  • LCD Projectors
  • Speaker Systems
  • Tripods
  • Wireless Mice & Keyboards
  • Presentation Remotes
  • Media Card Reader
  • Battery Chargers (Cameras, MacBooks, etc.)
  • Audio/Visual Cables
  • Other Items (Catalogue Available on Request)

At this time, Center equipment may only by reserved by Center programs. External entities (other FSU departments, registered student organizations, partner student organizations, etc.) should request space which already includes the necessary equipment. To request training on how to use either DSC or Center equipment, please email thecenter@fsu.edu.
