Summer Serviceship Program

Serviceship Graphic

A Serviceship is a service internship that gives selected students at Florida State University the opportunity to focus 8 – 12 weeks of their summer on full-time (35 – 40 hours/week) service at a non-profit agency, in contribution to an area of community need.

Examples of past projects have included working with people experiencing homelessness in Tallahassee, being a camp counselor for chronically ill children in California, working for a food bank in London, caring for HIV/AIDS patients in Spain, teaching English to elementary students in Nicaragua, constructing a technology center in Rwanda, and serving at an orphanage in India.
