Volunteer
In order to make this program run smoothly we will need volunteers in several different areas. If you are interested in volunteering please fill out the form below. Volunteers will be required to attend training on January 31st (times to be determined). If you have questions about volunteering please contact Meghan Murray at mem06j@fsu.edu.
Volunteers Descriptions
Tour Guide
The tour guide walks groups (typically of 5-10 people) through the program. He or she prepares the group before they begin, leads them throughout the entire program, and points out various aspects throughout the walk. Afterward, the tour guide also facilitates the end reflection activity with his or her group for debriefing.
Actor
Issue Committees will decide on whether or not their issue includes scenes. For the issues involving scenes, the actors will participate in acting for that active scenario. Note: Actors will need to create their own costumes for the scene, as described by the Issue Committee.
Set Up and Take Down
These volunteers will need to help with setting up the scenes, information, and any other materials for the event. On the program is done, they also will be in charge of taking down the scenes and information. During set up, people on this committee may be asked to help with constructing a scene, depending on the scenarios established by each Issue Committee.
