I signed up for a trip but now I realize I need to cancel. What do I do?
You can cancel by logging into the EngageTLH App. Find the trip you signed up for under My Upcoming Events and remove yourself from the participant list by selecting the red trash can.

Is there any penalty for canceling or no-showing for EngageTLH trips?
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the designated trip time or fail to show up at the trip without any notice, we will consider that you have no-showed for your EngageTLH trip. If you no-show or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice more than two times in a semester, you will be barred from participating in EngageTLH trips for the remainder of that semester. 

My student organization is interested in participating in an EngageTLH project. Can I sign us all up?
EngageTLH is designed to facilitate individual students’ participation in service and is not an ideal program for student groups. If you are interested in having your organization participate in a group service project, please contact center advising to learn about opportunities that will be better suited to your student group. 

I was told there was no more space in the van for me. Can I just follow the van in my car and volunteer with the project anyway?
Unfortunately, you cannot follow the center vans to the service projects. Volunteer capacity is determined by the partner agency; once that capacity is reached, the project is considered full.

Do I have to commit to an EngageTLH project every week?
No, EngageTLH is intended to be an exploratory program. Therefore, depending on your schedule and availability, you can sign up for projects on a week-to-week basis and participate as often as you wish. Unless otherwise stated, the projects do not require any long-term commitment, so you can sign up for a project once to see what it's like and not feel obligated to go again. But if you enjoy participating in a project, we encourage you to continue volunteering as often as you are able. If you want to have a regularly scheduled, semester-long service experience, consider applying to be an EngageTLH facilitator.

There's a specific agency that I am interested in, but I can't find it on the EngageTLH schedule. Can I not participate in it now?
Our schedule of trips and participating agencies changes each semester. If an agency is not listed on the schedule, it simply means that we do not currently have a project with that agency. If you have a specific interest in ongoing volunteering with an agency, we strongly encourage you to reach out directly to that agency.
