Disrupt Discrimination at Oct. 7 "Speak Up" Open Mic Night

By: Paige Rentz

Speak Up: Disrupt Discrimination is aimed at creating a welcoming campus community for all by encouraging those who see, hear or experience acts of discrimination to report these incidents through our updated bias and discrimination reporting system and to learn to actively interrupt such behavior.

We invite students to participate in our open mic night through song, dance, spoken word or other performances that relate to the mission of disrupting discrimination.

The event will be held Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Globe Auditorium immediately following International Coffee Hour.

Students interested in speaking up by sharing their talents can fill out this interest form.
