Campus Administrative Support
University Counseling Center
During online instruction, the UCC is offering Telemental Health Services and Telephonic Crisis Support to students at 850-644-TALK (8255).
Department of Student Support & Transitions
- Case Management Services works with individuals to provide emotional support, counseling, advocacy, and to identify immediate needs, making appropriate referrals to campus and community resources.
- Report.fsu.edu allows you to share important information regarding incidents or concerning behavior happening in the Florida State University community.
- The Victim Advocate Program provides a confidential advocate on call 24 hours a day to respond to FSU students, faculty, and staff who are victimized anywhere or at any time, as well as any other person who is victimized on our campus, at an FSU sponsored event, or by an FSU community member. Services offered include emotional support, instructor notification, referrals, crisis intervention and assistance in student conduct, legal and medical matters.

The Office of Investigations & Assessment (I&A) provides investigative services for allegations of misconduct concerning Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), whether as a reporting or responding party.

Campus Involvement
Black Student Union
BSU functions as a vehicle of communication to the faculty and administration of Florida State University. The Black Student Union seeks to develop unity among black students so that jointly and strongly they can express concerns and problems faced on campus.
NAACP Florida State University Chapter
The mission of the NAACP Youth & College Division shall be to inform youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities; to advance the economic, education, social and political status of African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities and their harmonious cooperation with other peoples; to stimulate an appreciation of the African Diaspora and other people of color’s contribution to civilization; and to develop an intelligent, effective youth leadership.
The National Council of Negro Women
NCNW is a voluntary nonprofit membership organization with the mission to advance the opportunities and the quality of life for African American women, their families and communities. NCNW fulfills this mission through research, advocacy, national and community based services and programs in the United States and Africa. The FSU Section of NCNW was founded on February 10th, 1999 and it continues to fill the gaps that exist within the campus community, particularly in meeting the concerns of women of color..
Black Graduate Student Association
The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) is a student organization aimed at addressing the needs of black graduate students and providing opportunities for mentorship, service and building relationships between its members and other students and organizations.
Queer Trans Intersex People of Color
QTIPOC is a student organization dedicated to creating safe and inviting spaces for queer, trans and intersex people of color in the Tallahassee community.
ACLU at FSU
The ACLU is established to safeguard and promote civil liberties through pro bono legal opportunities and College of Law events. The ACLU is a student chapter of the state ACLU organization. We will coordinate pro bono opportunities for law students, host panels and lectures, and coordinate trips to national and state conferences. We will also provide networking opportunities.
Interfaith Council
The Interfaith Council at Florida State University is an organization of campus ministry professionals who have come together from a wide variety of religious traditions to share a common interest in the free expression of religious faith in the life of the university.

NAACP Tallahassee Branch
Founded Feb. 12. 1909, the NAACP is the nation’s oldest, largest and most widely recognized grassroots-based civil rights organization. Its more than half-million members and supporters throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities, campaigning for equal opportunity and conducting voter mobilization.
Tallahassee Human Relations Council
The mission of Tallahassee Human Relations Council is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Tallahassee City Commission and to the Equity and Workforce Development on issues presented to the Council. Some of these issues include: promoting an understanding of human relations issues among and between members of the Council and the community, as well as internal diversity matters to improve the quality of life; developing relationships between diverse community groups; and establishing an objective process by which issues related to diversity in the community may be proactively addressed.

Mapping Our Social Change Roles in Times of Crisis
Deepa Iyer of the Building Movement Project offers resources to, in times of crisis, help answer the questions, "what are my values, how can I be aligned and in right relationship with them, what are the needs of the communities who anchor me, and what can I offer with my full energy?"
