Support center programming during the Great Give

FSU's Great Give, Center for Leadership and Social Change

The FSU Foundation's Great Give kicks off Thursday morning, and Women's Leadership Institute is a featured project during the 36-hour fundraising event.

Florida State supporters can make gifts in support of academic programs, scholarships and student activities from 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 22 until the campaign ends at 9 p.m. on Friday, March 23. During that time, incentive periods for projects and departments can make your donations go even further.

Women for FSU, our partners in hosting the Women's Leadership Institute, have a featured project this year to raise money for the program focused on creating a dynamic learning environment for women’s leadership development. Each year, 49 undergraduate women are invited to learn with and from FSU faculty, staff and alumni to enhance their leader identity and leadership capacity.

All gifts will be matched up to $5,000 thanks to a challenge grant from the Women for FSU Executive Committee and the former Gift of Wisdom award recipients.

The ultimate goal of the center’s work is to develop our abilities to be aware of and engaged in the world around us, using our talents and means to create a more just and humane society. The support of individuals and organizations is critical in sustaining and expanding this collaborative, continuous work to live and lead at the intersection of community, diversity and change. Programs such as Multicultural Leadership Summit, LeaderShape Institute, and Service Leadership Seminar also rely on donations from those who support our vision.
