Through the university’s longstanding partnership with LeaderShape, FSU students will have the opportunity to attend the National Conference on Student Life, for which LeaderShape is a sponsor.
The National Conference on Student Life is a high-energy, hands-on conference experience designed to help students:
- Develop essential leadership and life skills
- Connect with peers and professionals from across the country
- Gain practical tools to apply immediately
- Grow as an individual and as part of a team
- Get inspired by real-world leaders who walk the walk
Whether part of student government, leading a club, or just starting their leadership journey — NCSL can give students the confidence, clarity, and community to thrive.
2025 Conference
Nov. 20-22 | Atlanta
Selected students will have the opportunity to learn through intensive engagement with a lineup of compelling tracks and hands-on workshops designed to empower, inspire, and equip them for success on campus and beyond. This year, NCSL will take place in Atlanta from Thursday, Nov. 20 to Saturday, Nov. 22. Participation is free to selected participants, who will have their lodging, meals, and travel paid for by the university.
Expectations for selected student participants include:
- Represent Florida State University and uphold the policies, standards, and values of the university
- Be fully available for the duration of the conference
- Actively participate in the conference and engage with other attendees
- Attend pre- and post-conference meetings to collaborate with FSU participants and create a group action plan
- Return to FSU for the fall 2026 semester to implement learning from the conference in the FSU community
